Suitable for 700c drop-handlebar road bikes with rim brakes, this wheel features a lightweight double-wall alloy rim, high-quality sealed cartridge bearings hub and 32x stainless steel spokes, offering excellent build quality and dependable performance.

Freewheel Options: A 6, 7 or 8-speed freewheel can be selected from the drop-down menu. Please note freewheel will come fitted.

New life to an old bike

Helpful advice from the folks at Madspeed. The wheel arrived quickly and was a simple fit into my slightly narrower old Dawes frame - just a bit of DIY cold setting required! They recommended the Anti-Theft Security Wheel Locking Skewers as I was replacing a bolt in wheel in horizontal mounts. So far I've not used these as the wheel seems to stay in place OK.

Great product!

Bought this wheel for my commuter/racer after buckling the last one. It looks great and I've noticed a real improvement with the new bearings. The deeper rim profile should hopefully help it stand up to pot holes too..!

QR 700c (ETRTO 622x14) Road Racing Bike REAR Wheel 6/7 Speed Shimano Freewheel

Replacement rear wheel for old Raleigh Road bike used for indoor turbo training. Previous wheel had constantly punctured tubes due to how spokes were inlaid notwithstanding proper taping. None of that anymore! Very happy. Advice received pre-purchase confirmed this would fit and do the job.
