700c (28 inch) hybrid bike rear wheel.

Schrader valve hole (Presta inner tube can also be used with the use of a grommet. Grommet not included.)
High quality Taiwan sealed bearings hub - 10x135mm QR (Very smooth hub)
Supplied with QR skewer and rim tape
32x Black spokes
7/8/9/10 speed cassette compatible rear hub (A 7 speed cassette will require a spacer. Spacer only included if a 7 speed cassette is purchased with the wheel)
Suitable for both disc and rim brakes
Standard 6 bolt disc fitting
OLD (Locknut to locknut) – Standard 135mm rear hub spacing
Wheel will take all 700c hybrid tyre sizes from 700x28c to 700x55c

Great wheel

Bought a Giant Contend 6months ago and had spoke after spoke break. 4in all over 3 months) so swapped threat wheel for this one. 3m in the in and it has stayed true and no broken spokes. 👍

Great value

Bought for my Raleigh Motus while I had the original repaired, did a great job but the cassette didn’t really work well with the shimano chain and derailleur.

All good so far

Bought to replace a wheel with cracked rim. Very fast response to questions. Very quick dispatch and delivery and although something had knocked a flap in the side of the box it seems undamaged and runs true now fitted. Just cross with myself for not spotting on the website that there is one for 7 speed gears to save me buying a spacer. Also should have bought the pair as I don't know how much wear there is on the front rim.

Having never bought a new wheel and cassette before I was apprehensive about choosing the right thing. I messaged madspeed7 quite late at night for advice. I got an immediate reply asking for a couple more details which I provided. I then asked for help on choosing a new chain, and again the response was immediate.
