These were sent really quickly and well packaged too, they look great quality, the bearings are really smooth and fast rolling, the rims are strong with a well machined surface for brakes and overall a big improvement over my old wheels. There was even a spare pair of spokes for the far future!
This is my second wheelset from Madspeed7 the first were for my road bike, also great wheels, fast rolling tough and a big improvement overall! Next time I need a wheelset I'll be back as a customer!
Fitted these to my 20th anniversary GT ZASKAR. Looks great, good quality and good value for money.
I bought these wheels to upgrade my crappy Halfords Carrera wheels, and there brilliant. They spin faster and look and feel so much better. I'm really impressed with these wheels for the price, they also fitted my new cassette on the rear too when I asked.
fit really easy
It a great quality wheel running fine a straight replacement on a boardman 8.6 mtb
Enquired about odd bike wheels on vintage bike, really helpful and fitted tight tyres for me as well
Kudos to the team at Madspeed7 for knowing their stuff and actually looking at the products in person before answering my queries. This is far better than the experience I had at several retailers in my region.
I am still building my new bike with this wheel, so I haven't road-tested it yet. From the unboxing I can tell the hub is LOUD and the wheel looks pretty good. The adapters for thru-axle and QR look solid, so this wheel will probably have a long life being swapped back and forth between my different "project" bikes.
I bought these wheels for a neo-retro bike and they fit really well. This is not the same model as I bought 700x17 wheels. Thereβs not a large margin between the cassette and the hub, but for a modern bike it will work like a charm. Really good quality and extremely fast delivery I highly recommend their wheels.
I needed a new wheel for my rather rare e-bike, and sent Madspeed7 all the info I could find about it. They checked and double-checked to make sure they could advise me properly, and then sent me a few options via email. I ordered one of them, it was dispatched promptly, very safely packaged, and it is perfect. Good product, good communication, good service. What I liked less is that the box included an axle and wheel tape, which I did not need. They could have communicated about that, too.
Got this to replace an aging front wheel on my MTB. Fast delivery and nice wheel with lovely smooth hub
