DT Swiss Champion Spokes: The DT Swiss Champion spoke is a classic all-rounder for everyday use, offering DT Swiss quality and reliability. Made from X5 stainless steel, containing chrome for rust resistance and nickel for strength. The rolling of the nipple thread removes no metal from the spoke and preserves the grain of the material, maximising strength and greatly reducing the likelihood of failure at the threads.

Excellent wheel

After 3 weeks cycling with a rear madspeed wheel (29x 31) on my e-MTB (Trek Rail 5), I am very pleased. Very low friction and no need to adjust the bearings.
Last year I put a rear Madspeed on my mechanical MTB, 26" , and that convinced me to use them again. Madspeed were very helpful when I had a query when installing it too.
So definitely recommended. Particularly good value too.
Any downsides? Well I was expecting an inner tape on the wheel. I would have happily paid extra for that. But I used the tape from my old wheel so not a problem.
